How are your lamps made?
Each lamp is handcrafted in my studio on Salt Spring Island. I hand-form the ceramic bases from speckled clay, pleat the paper or cotton shades by hand, and finish each piece with brass hardware. No two lamps are exactly alike.
Can I commission a custom lamp?
Yes. If you have a specific colour, shape, or size in mind, I'd love to discuss it. Custom commissions start with a conversation about your space and what you're looking for. Reach out through the contact page to get started.
How much do your lamps cost?
Lamps typically range from $250 to $350 CAD depending on size, complexity, and materials. Custom pieces may vary. Check the lamps page for current availability and pricing.
Do you ship lamps?
Yes, I ship across Canada. Each lamp is carefully packaged to ensure it arrives safely. Shipping costs depend on your location and are calculated at the time of purchase.
What interior design services do you offer?
I offer full room design, colour consultations, lighting plans, furniture selection, styling, and custom millwork design. I also offer two-hour design consultations for anyone who needs clear guidance without committing to a full project.
How much does interior design cost?
Every project is different, so I offer a free discovery call to understand your scope before quoting. I work with a range of budgets and can tailor my services accordingly, from a focused colour consultation to a full home redesign.
Do you work with clients outside Salt Spring Island?
Yes. While I'm based on Salt Spring Island, I work with clients across Vancouver Island, Victoria, Vancouver, Whistler, and the Gulf Islands. Much of the design process can happen remotely, and I travel for installations and key milestones.
How long does a design project take?
A single-room refresh might take 4-6 weeks from concept to completion. Larger projects involving renovations and trades can take 3-6 months or more. I'll give you a realistic timeline during our initial consultation.
Can you work with my existing furniture?
Absolutely. Some of the best interiors are a mix of new and existing pieces. I'll assess what you have, identify what's working, and build the design around the things that matter to you.
